Flohschanze is a flea market where you can buy the best local products and the earlier you go on a Saturday, the better the bargain. A former cattle slaughter house now a bohemian hub. Antiques, jewellery, second-hand clothes or bikes are among the merchandise you'll find there. There are coffee shops between the stalls to take a break from shopping. Karolinenviertel often referred to as Karoviertel, is another hipster part of town especially Marktstraße with numerous vintage and secondhand shops and eco-friendly or vegetarian/vegan venues.
